Our holiday home Villa Faro Durbuy offers you wellness and relaxation in the greenery of the Ardennes. The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that have been recently renovated. It can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, Nespresso, Senseo and filter coffee machine. The football table guarantees hours of fun for young and old. There are 2 sitting areas, each with a TV. The heated swimming pool and jacuzzi with breathtaking views and the panoramic barrel sauna are sure to please. In short, in Villafarodurbuy you will enjoy a well-deserved holiday in the Ardennes.

In holiday home "VillaFaro Durbuy" your dogs are welcome! The garden of 2000m2 is fully fenced so your dog can walk around safely while you relax in the wellness facilities. Without worries with your dog on holiday in the Ardennes, that is possible in Villa Faro.

There are standard drinking and eating pots in the holiday home. We can also provide a large bench  on request. We prefer that you bring your own dog pillow. Then the dog on holiday also has its familiar smell.

The dog can easily swim in the water of the Ourthe at the passerelle in Grandhan, about 3km from the holiday home.

The story behind Villa Faro Durbuy

Fanny and Ronald, together forming FARO, are the proud owners of Villa Faro Durbuy, their holiday villa in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. Together with their border collie Nochy, the house mascot, they love sharing their passion for Durbuy, nature and hospitality with their guests.

Love at first sight

It was love at first sight when Fanny and Ronald arrived at Plateau du Soleil in Septon in 2014, an idyllic village just a few kilometres from Durbuy. They immediately fell in love with the distinctive architecture of Villa Faro Durbuy, the peaceful surroundings and, above all, the magnificent views across the Ardennes.

What started as a very special place in the Ardennes soon became their dream retreat, a place that truly captured their hearts.

A villa that has continued to evolve

Since 2014, Fanny and Ronald have gradually renovated and improved Villa Faro, always taking great care to preserve the original character of the property.

The fireplace in the living room and the kitchen were the first to be renovated, adding modern comfort while retaining characteristic features such as the wooden beams and stone walls.

During the mandatory closure in the coronavirus period, they took the opportunity to completely renovate the entire ground floor, from floor to ceiling.

A year later, they turned their attention to the outdoor areas. The terraces and swimming pool were renovated and further developed into a wonderful space where outdoor living and relaxation take centre stage.

Today, Villa Faro offers a range of facilities that make a stay in the Ardennes even more special, including a private heated outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and panoramic barrel sauna.

A new chapter for FARO

In 2019, Fanny and Ronald had the opportunity to purchase a second holiday home just across the street: Chalet Faro Durbuy. This property was developed with the same passion and was successfully rented out to guests for several years.

In 2026, the chalet was sold, marking the beginning of a new chapter for FARO. Since then, Fanny and Ronald have once again devoted their full attention to the place where their story began in 2014: Villa Faro Durbuy.

They now use all the experience they have gained over the years to make every stay at Villa Faro as enjoyable as possible.

Surrounded by greenery, Villa Faro combines peace and privacy with easy access to Durbuy and the many activities the Belgian Ardennes have to offer.

In the summer period the solar power heated swimming pool at “Villa Faro Durbuy” will steal your heart.

The water temperature is enjoyable warm within the period between May and October. Children can live their hearts out in the open air swimming pool.  When you are swimming you can enjoy a wide view on the green hills of the Belgian Ardennes.  The lounge chairs next to the pool provide you a place where you can relax while your children enjoy the water.  The large seating area under the patio provides you shelter and gives you freshness when it becomes too hot, but it provides also shelter when the sun disappears behind the clouds.  The cosy lighting of the swimming pool makes at night the romantic setting at “Villa Faro Durbuy” and with a bit of luck you can see a splendid firework above the hills of the Ardennes.

The traditional wooden beams in the living room and seating area, together with the 2 mezzanines breath out the typical atmosphere of a chalet of the Ardennes.  You can enjoy the leather seating area on a colder evening and enjoy the cosy warmth of the log fire.  While you are at Villa Faro Holiday House you can watch your favourite TV shows on our flat screen smart television with “TV Vlaanderen”.  The kitchen:  Whether you’re an infrequent kitchen dweller or an experienced chef there are loads of kitchen gadgets you can use to get your tasty, healthy meals quickly and simply.  There is a magnetron, electric hob, 2 fridges with freezer, senseo and an old fashioned coffee machine, kettle, grill, dishwasher and a washing machine.  In the relaxation area you can play a set of kicker
